Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack and API Developer (Multiple openings) in Atlanta, GA. The Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack and API Developer (multiple openings) is responsible for developing APIs, API Management and developing services on integration platforms including Tibco platform, Tibco BusinessWorks container edition, Mule and Java Spring boot. Specific duties include: (1) design, develop, test and maintain Money Movement products on tibco container and cloud platforms; (2) take full stack ownership of the integration layer on the platform by collaborating with business partners and technical teams across the bank; (3) use Generative Artificial Intelligence tools like co-pilot to build products for enhancing business user experience and management reporting; (4) analyze, prototype, define and build services to support business processes, transformations and routings on Arcaria platform using tibco and java platforms; (5) migrate to new cloud-based confluent Kafka event streaming platform from legacy JMS based architecture; (6) analyze, prototype, define, and build integration components on Tibco BusinessWorks container edition to support business process, transformations, Routing and API handling; (7) create CI/CD pipeline for Kubernetes and Azure/AWS using Helm, Ansible. Manage job control libraries on mainframes and perform secure file transfers and API calls with mainframe applications; (8) implement experience with migration to event streaming platforms including Kafka from legacy messaging platforms as well as developing APIs using graphql and deploying them to containers with load balancing using APIGEE; (9) migrate from legacy SQL databases to Azure SQL and Non-SQL databases including Cassandra and MongoDB; and (10) work with the following tools and technologies: Java Spring, MuleSoft Any point platform, Tibco BWCE 2.x, Tibco BW 5.x, Tibco EMS 8.x, Confluent Kafka, Microsoft SQL server 2012, Gitlab, Cloudbees Jenkins, Rancher (Docker/Kubernetes), Apollo Graphql, Splunk, Kibana, Service Now, and Azure TFS.
Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 5 years (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience developing APIs, API Management and developing services on integration platforms including Tibco platform, Tibco BusinessWorks container edition, Mule and Java Spring boot.
Required Skills/Experience:. Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: (1) analyzing, prototyping, defining and building integration components on Tibco BusinessWorks container edition to support business process, transformations, Routing and API handling; (2) creating CI/CD pipeline for Kubernetes and Azure/AWS using Helm, Ansible. Manage job control libraries on mainframes and perform secure file transfers and API calls with mainframe applications; (3) implementing experience with migration to event streaming platforms including Kafka from legacy messaging platforms as well as developing APIs using graphql and deploying them to containers with load balancing using APIGEE; (4) migrating from legacy SQL databases to Azure SQL and Non-SQL databases including Cassandra and MongoDB; and (5) working with the following tools and technologies: Java Spring, MuleSoft Any point platform, Tibco BWCE 2.x, Tibco BW 5.x, Tibco EMS 8.x, Confluent Kafka, Microsoft SQL server 2012, Gitlab, Cloudbees Jenkins, Rancher (Docker/Kubernetes), Apollo Graphql, Splunk, Kibana, Service Now, and Azure TFS.
