Software Engineer II, Frontend - Enterprise Invoicing

About the Role
The Enterprise Billing Platforms Team in Bangalore is building and evolving the best-in-class business systems for Invoicing the B2B Customers, which enables experiences and tools for reliable, configurable, and intelligent business lifecycle management. The platform enables end-to-end B2B experience for onboarding, invoicing and collections - enabling cost-efficient business growth for Uber LOBs like U4B, Direct, Ads, G&R etc. through acquisition, retention, and resurrection.
The team is cross-functional. There will be significant, challenging problems in the Frontend engineering spaces, and the team will have embedded collaborators from Product Management, Design, and Data Science.
As part of the team, you will have direct responsibility for vital systems and processes. You will take ownership of key features and initiatives in crafting and building high-quality, scalable systems to make incentives reliable and efficient. Your work will directly impact the lives of Uber’s partners (drivers, couriers, vehicles), riders, eaters and operations teams across the globe.
---- Basic Qualifications ----
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Front End Engineer or similar role
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields
- Proficient in frontend development with TypeScript and related frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) or willing to learn
- Experience with software development best practices and design patterns

- Experience in backend development with Java, Go, or Python
- Experience building large distributed systems
- Experience with running critical systems in production, monitoring them, and handling incidents.
- Experience with database and storage technologies and understanding trade-offs between them
- Experience working with payment systems
