Uber’s ambition is to become a platform people rely on for everyday needs. The Consumer Engagement team sits at the center of that vision, shaping how users experience and engage with Uber across our ecosystem.
As a Senior Product Manager on this team, you will lead one of Uber’s most important growth opportunities: expanding multi-vertical engagement within the Uber app. You’ll define how millions of users discover, adopt, and build habits across rides, delivery, grocery, and emerging use cases - turning Uber from a single use utility into an indispensable daily platform.
This is a high impact, fast paced environment where you’ll operate across the end-to-end consumer journey, identifying high impact opportunities to both build new experiences (0-1) and optimize existing experiences that drive sustained engagement.
You’ll work at the intersection of product, growth, and strategy – connecting dots across teams and surfaces to unlock step function change improvements in experiences. What the Candidate Will Do
- Define product strategy: Set and drive the vision and strategy to grow multi-vertical engagement, shaping how users discover and adopt new use cases across Uber.
- Identify opportunities: Identify, size, and prioritize high-impact opportunities across the end-to-end consumer journey using data, user research, and experimentation.
- Build and optimize products: Lead the development of new experiences (0-1) to introduce cross-vertical behaviors, while optimizing existing surfaces to improve conversion, frequency, and retention.
- Own execution: Drive end-to-end execution against a clear product roadmap, partnering closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, and Operations to deliver high-quality products at scale.
- Measure and iterate: Define success metrics, run experiments, and use insights to continuously improve product performance and drive measurable business outcomes.
- Drive cross-team alignment: Partner across Rides and Delivery teams to align on strategy and deliver cohesive, user centric experiences across the ecosystem.
- Communicate and influence: Clearly communicate product vision, strategy, and results to cross functional partners and leadership to build alignment and momentum.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of Product Management experience delivering highly successful and innovative consumer products with your fingerprints all over them. You should be familiar with systems thinking, analytics and experiment design, and have a solid understanding of software development processes and concepts.
- Strategy and Execution: Experience setting and delivering on a strategy you crafted, where you were accountable for the outcomes.
- Customer obsession: You have a knack for taking on complex product challenges and finding elegant solutions that are delightfully simple for our users.
- Product Sense: Strong product intuition and customer empathy, with the ability to identify meaningful user problems and translate them into simple intuitive experiences.
- Data Fluency: Deep understanding of data driven product development. Comfort with analytics, funnel optimization, and experiment design. You can get the data you need and whip it into an insightful story with no help. You have experience running rigorous multivariate testing and experimentation.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to partner effectively with Engineering, Design, and Data Science, Operations, Marketing to deliver high quality products, including experience working across geographically distributed teams in a fast-paced environment.

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year.
For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year.
For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
