What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
- Coordinate lab repositories of plasmids and cell lines
- Organize biosafety certification and animal husbandry protocols
- Introduce incoming lab members to common laboratory practices and safety guidelines
- Oversee ordering of research items
- Communicate with vendor representatives regarding orders
- Maintain common lab reagents, equipment, and consumables
- Organize, breed, and genotype mouse colonies
- Unpack and distribute orders upon arrival
- Design and execute experiments in support of ongoing projects in the lab

Be Statements
What We Require
- B.S., B.A., or equivalent degree in molecular biology, developmental biology, biochemistry, or a related field.
What You Will Need
- A working knowledge of basic software (word, excel, PowerPoint).
- A strong interest in developmental and molecular biology.
- The ideal candidate would be highly organized and possess strong interpersonal skills.
What We Would Like You to Have
- Lab experience, particularly in the areas of molecular biology, developmental biology, and animal husbandry (mouse work) is preferred.
