Duties/Responsibilities | Provides basic to intermediate-level mechanical repairs on transit buses as assigned by the supervisor. |

Minimum Qualifications | |
Position Summary | Troubleshoot and conduct routine repairs to fleet vehicles. Perform limited maintenance repairs on transit buses within safety and manufacturer’s specifications. Candidates should submit to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with USDOT regulations. |
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position | |
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies | Demonstrated ability to maintain heavy-duty diesel vehicles, troubleshoot and repair complex systems such as electrical and electronics systems, climate control systems, diesel engines and transmissions. Ability to use computers for diagnosis, parts look-ups and other tasks. The successful candidate will provide their own tools. |
