Preferred Qualifications | At least 5 years of administrative experience in administration of outreach and education programs and least 1 year of experience with administration of undergraduate experiential learning programs. |
Position Summary | Serving as Program Manager for Outreach and Education Programs at the University of Georgia’s Savannah River Ecology Laboratory, this position, based in Aiken, S.C., reports to the Director of the Savannah River Ecology Laboratory. This role encompasses 0.70 EFT in administration and 0.30 EFT in Outreach. The Program Manager provides management and supervisory oversight for SREL’s four outreach and public relations personnel, including the planning and evaluation of program scope and content, and the planning and evaluation of public relations activities and events. Strategic planning for SREL Outreach programs is a key responsibility. The position may also oversee SREL support staff involved in the coordination of undergraduate experiential learning and training programs. Contributing to the vision and strategic direction of SREL’s outreach programming, public engagement initiatives, and formal experiential learning programs is central to this role. The Program Manager also supports the development and delivery of SREL. |
