Position Summary
The Office of Finance and Administration at CVIOG is seeking a Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) who is self-motivated and adaptable. As a GRA, you will be given the opportunity to participate in many functions of the office and to personalize your experience through collaboration and communication with divisions across the institute. The GRA must meet the requirements for acceptance into the Graduate School at the University of Georgia and must be duly enrolled as a full-time graduate student (12 credit hours) upon employment. The assistantship is a 20 hours/week (maximum) commitment for each semester. The assistantship can be renewed for a second semester to cover the full academic year. A monthly stipend and tuition remission that is consistent with the rate established by the University at the time of the appointment will be provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Recruit, onboard, and support 3-7 Vinson Institute Fellows each year.
• Recruit, onboard, and support 2-4 Georgia Legislative Internship Program students/semester.
• Support the Student Engagement & Programs Manager to enrich and elevate the CVIOG student employee experience.
• Support the Student Engagement & Programs Manager with marketing and scaling the PROPEL Rural Scholars Program.
