Job Summary

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Michigan Medical School is recruiting for a research faculty member with expertise and interest in developing and innovating real-world evidence (RWE) methodologies in clinical research and biostatistics with a research focus on improving healthful aging for individuals with disabilities using translational and multi-modal strategies.

Required Qualifications*

A PhD
At least 1 year of post-doctoral research experience
At least 3 years of experience in a related academic field
Expertise in real-world evidence and health services research methodologies
Evidence of obtaining R01 level funding as well as foundation and/or industry funding
Evidence of National service
Evidence of national invited speaking activities
Evidence of teaching and mentorship of faculty, residents, medical students and other scholars
Strong publication record including original research in peer-reviewed journals

Background Screening
