Responsibilities*

  • Contribute to the design and fabrication of MEMS-based actuators and sensors for integration into fiber-coupled microendoscopes.
  • Focused on executing cleanroom microfabrication processes, including photolithography, thin-film deposition of materials such as PZT, dry and wet etching, wafer bonding, and dicing.
  • Metrology and electrical testing, utilizing instruments such as scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and profilometry to characterize device performance.
  • Assembly and packaging of microsystems devices, including the integration of optical components into imaging platforms.
  • Troubleshooting fabrication and integration issues, as well as implementing process improvements.
  • Support in vivo imaging experiments and involve close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams within the P41 Imaging Center to ensure alignment with broader project goals.

Required Qualifications*

  • Bachelor's degree, preferable in Electrical Engineering
  • 4-5 years of experience.

  • Masters degree

Background Screening
