Job Summary
Reports to: Assistant Director of Prospect Development
Supervises: N/A
As the Prospect Management Analyst, you will serve as a consultant to the fundraising units across the three University of Michigan campuses. Your core responsibility will be the portfolio review process, including preparing documents and conducting portfolio review sessions. Your primary responsibility will be to advise university fundraisers in the optimization of their portfolios and the achievement of their fundraising goals. You will influence operational change management through departmental audits and providing instructional feedback. You will also address inquiries from members of the development community about prospect management data procedures, policies, and best practices.

Responsibilities*
Responsibilities include:
50% Prospect Management Community Outreach - You will consult fundraisers on the optimization of their portfolios through strategic portfolio reviews.
40% Data Management & Presentation - You will collect and audit prospect-related data with the highest degree of confidentiality.
10% Administrative and Other - You will assist our team and organizational leadership with community-wide strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications*
- One or more years of office experience with a bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
- Consulting capabilities, including the ability to relate complex content to different audiences, as well as the ability to understand client needs and collaborate effectively to achieve shared goals, while providing exceptional customer service.
- Computing and technical skills, including familiarity with word, spreadsheets, database systems, business intelligence tools, and other applications.

Modes of Work

This position is based out of Ann Arbor, MI and is eligible for Onsite and Hybrid work modes.
