Responsibilities*
- Lead independent and collaborative projects investigating host?pathogen interactions in the lung
- Design and conduct experiments using murine models, immunological assays (flow cytometry, IFA, ELISA), and molecular biology approaches (qPCR, transcriptomics, ChIP,)
- Analyze and interpret data, prepare manuscripts, and present findings at national and international conferences.
Required Qualifications*
- Prospective candidates for this position are required to have a minimum of a MD, DVM, or PhD degree (in the biological sciences).
Desired Qualifications*
- PhD (or equivalent) in immunology, microbiology, molecular biology, or a related field
- Strong background in immunology, epithelial biology and/or virology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Preferred but not required: expertise in bioinformatics for scRNA-seq data analysis (e.g., Seurat, Cell Ranger, R/Python).

Background Screening
