Responsibilities*

  • Lead independent and collaborative projects investigating host?pathogen interactions in the lung
  • Design and conduct experiments using murine models, immunological assays (flow cytometry, IFA, ELISA), and molecular biology approaches (qPCR, transcriptomics, ChIP,)
  • Analyze and interpret data, prepare manuscripts, and present findings at national and international conferences.

Required Qualifications*

  • Prospective candidates for this position are required to have a minimum of a MD, DVM, or PhD degree (in the biological sciences).

Desired Qualifications*

  • PhD (or equivalent) in immunology, microbiology, molecular biology, or a related field
  • Strong background in immunology, epithelial biology and/or virology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Preferred but not required: expertise in bioinformatics for scRNA-seq data analysis (e.g., Seurat, Cell Ranger, R/Python).

Background Screening
