| Position Summary | This position will serve as a Clinical Research Coordinator within the Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology. The Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for the planning, organization, and conduct of multiple clinical research study protocols, including independently collecting and recording data, project administration, and communication with various stakeholders. This job requires the candidate to be in person. The primary location is the Burnett-Womack Building located on campus. Other potential work areas are the Biomedical Research Imaging Center (BRIC) and the Eastowne Medical Office Building. |
| Minimum Education and Experience Requirements | Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |
| Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience | Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work and communicate with diverse populations effectively and professionally. Ability to work independently as well as function as part of a team. Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. |
| Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience | Previous experience in clinical research and a high level of organizational skills are preferred. |
