| Position Summary | This position will serve as a Clinical Research Coordinator within the Critical Care and Trauma Research Unit in the Department of Surgery . The Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for the planning, organization, and conduct of multiple clinical research study protocols, including consenting, independently collecting and recording data, project administration and clinical trial assessments with appropriate follow-up, and communication with various stakeholders. The Clinical Research Coordinator must ensure all trial activities strictly follow the study protocol, regulatory requirements, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, maintain meticulous study documents, including regulatory binders, to ensure they are complete, accurate, and up-to-date, and report any adverse events or other significant occurrences to the appropriate parties. In addition, the Clinical Research Coordinator will specialize in extracorporeal purification device trials, wound healing trials, and/or pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic clinical trials. |
| Minimum Education and Experience Requirements | Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |
