The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Nursing has been the leader in nursing education in North Carolina throughout its history. Established in 1950, it was the first school of nursing in North Carolina to offer a four-year baccalaureate nursing degree program followed by the first master’s degree program, the first continuing education program for nurses, first doctoral program, and first accelerated BSN option to students with college degrees. Position Summary
UNC Chapel Hill School of Nursing is searching for a Project Coordinator to assist with multiple research projects in Robeson County, NC.

The main purpose of this position is to assist the Project Manager with the planning, development, administration, and operations of all projects. The Project Coordinator (PC) will be responsible for attending recruitment events and collecting data in Robeson County, providing research support, and coordinating activities for all projects.
This position will involve transporting laboratory specimens and research supplies between the study clinic and Lumberton, NC, on a periodic basis. This role will also require engaging with study participants at their homes, public locations, or in a clinic setting to provide incentives and/or distribute and collect study devices in and around Robeson County.

This position is located in Robeson County, NC. Periodic training sessions and in-person workdays at UNC Chapel Hill may be required (up to one day per month). Candidates must live in or be within a reasonable commuting distance of Robeson County, NC.

Meetings with community partners usually take place after regular business hours, and data collection is occasionally carried out on weekends.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Management Preferences
Demonstrated possession of competencies and experience collecting research data.
Experience with online data capture systems such as REDCap and Qualtrics.
