| Position Summary | The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Pancreatic Cancer Center of Excellence under the direction of Dr. Yeh (PI) and other laboratory members. The group is focused on the studies of cancer genomics and novel therapies. Prior demonstrated experience with Matlab, R perl and/or python will be needed to analyze genomic and proteomic data and generate expression matrices using preexisting codes. Write short scripts to handle straightforward application tasks using perl/python. Run preexisting pipelines. Candidates will utilize molecular biology skills with certain procedures (i.e. experience with PCR, running gels, DNA, and RNA quantification) and must demonstrate ability to perform bench protocols. Tissue culture requiring significant attention to detail will be required. Animal handling will also be a function of this job. Successful applicants will have demonstrated a willingness and ability to work in these areas. In addition, exceptional organizational, experimental, problem solving and oral/written communication skills. |

| Management Preferences | - Experience with in vitro tissue culture method assays and vivo tumor efficacy studies - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Experience in maintaining mouse colony - Experience with non-invasive imaging modalities |
