Job Description

The Mendoza College of Business seeks a skilled and collaborative Student Success Analyst to join its Innovation, Strategy & Insights team. At Mendoza, we are guided by a commitment to Grow the Good in Business, a vision that requires not only heart and courage but also rigorous, high-fidelity intelligence. This role is a critical internal consultant who turns complex data into actionable insights that drive the student journey from initial inquiry to lifelong alumni ROI.

Working alongside experts in organizational strategy and business intelligence, you will help integrate student data across the entire institutional lifecycle, including admissions, advising, student life, and career success. You will go beyond traditional reporting to provide proactive insights and intelligence that break down silos and improve program performance. Whether you are building interactive dashboards for executive leadership or executing deep-dive analytics projects to improve enrollment pipelines, your work will ensure that Mendoza’s strategic decisions are informed by evidence and an unwavering focus on student outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines technical fluency with a deep appreciation for context. You are someone who thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment and possesses the strategic curiosity to surface the "why" behind the numbers. By joining this team, you will empower leaders across the College with the clarity needed to drive Mendoza’s world-class business education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Reporting & Visualization: Develop and maintain sophisticated reports and interactive dashboards for a diverse range of partners, from subject matter experts to executive leadership. You will incorporate best practices in data storytelling to ensure insights are clear, compelling, and tailored to the audience.
  • Analytics & Evidence-Based Insight: Design and execute analytics projects to answer high-priority questions regarding student success. This includes analyzing the enrollment pipeline, mapping the student journey, and evaluating career outcomes to understand how these phases influence one another.
  • Data Stewardship & Integration: Collaborate with partners within Mendoza and across the University to drive improvements in data infrastructure, quality, and documentation. You will create new datasets by connecting information from multiple sources and help build institutional literacy around student-related data.
  • Collaborative Consultation: Partner with academic and administrative units to provide consultation on projects that elevate the College’s reputation and rankings performance.
  • Operational Excellence: Scope data requests to identify opportunities where reports can serve broader institutional needs, ensuring that the Strategy & Planning team remains a proactive resource for continuous improvement.
