Job Description
The University of Notre Dame Alumni Association (NDAA) exists to enrich the lives of our alumni, parents, and friends, and to strengthen their connection to the University. Technology is the vital engine that enables this mission, powering the digital platforms and data-driven insights that keep the Notre Dame family engaged across the globe. We are seeking an IT Solutions Associate to join the Office of Information Technology (OIT) within the Enhanced Technology Partnerships team, serving as a dedicated technical partner to the Alumni Association.
As an IT Solutions Associate, you will be at the intersection of technology and mission. You will spend your time understanding the unique operational challenges of the NDAA and translating those needs into effective technical solutions. This is an ideal role for a collaborative professional with a consultative mindset who is eager to learn and grow within a world-class IT organization. You will work alongside IT Solutions Consultants and Specialists to deploy, support, and optimize services that ensure the Alumni Association can continue to be a force for good.
Your work will be centered on several key areas:
Solution Deployment and Support: You will serve as the primary point of contact for technical needs, assisting with the implementation of new services and ensuring that existing systems operate at peak performance to support NDAA staff and constituents.
Customer Discovery and Documentation: Using Voice of Customer (VOC) techniques such as interviews, surveys, and observation, you will elicit and document business requirements. You will create business process maps and business cases that bridge the gap between departmental needs and technical execution.
Project and Change Management: You will help lead the "people side of change," ensuring that new technology is adopted effectively through clear communication and support. You will also participate in NDAA hallmark events, including Reunion, Football Fridays, and Board meetings, to gain a firsthand understanding of the community you support.
Data Analysis and Continuous Improvement: You will leverage data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and propose specialized technical solutions to improve the department's operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Minimum
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

A solid foundation of technical knowledge and a demonstrated willingness to learn new systems and methodologies including:
Mac and Windows operating systems
Google’s G-suite applications
The ability to diagnose and resolve minor network or infrastructure-related issues
Working knowledge of audiovisual solutions for conference rooms
Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders both orally and in writing.
Experience or coursework related to data analysis and business process mapping.
Ability to research problems, gather facts from various sources, and propose specialized technical solutions.
Experience in technology consulting, requirements gathering, and documenting business process flows
Preferred
Experience with ServiceNow software, including ticketing, knowledge base, and dashboards
MECM and JAMF for centrally managed image deployment
Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
Experience with Change Management (Prosci or similar frameworks)
Proficiency in requirements elicitation and documentation
Previous experience working within a university or complex non-profit environment

Additional Information
Salary: Up to $65,000, commensurate with experience
Deadline to Apply: April 20, 2026 (EOD)
This is a full-time position, M-F 8-5, with occasional after-hours and/or weekend support. This role may begin as a fully onsite position during an acclimation and ramp-up period. After this period, the position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement (1-2 days remote) based on operational needs and team expectations.
