Housed within the Department of Medicine Center for Research on Health Care, the Caring for Complex Chronic Conditions Research Center (C4)
brings together experts from a range of disciplines to improve health and healthcare for adults with chronic health conditions. Our work addresses
care for diabetes, heart disease, and other similar and multiple chronic conditions, through innovations in healthcare delivery, self-management
support and technology. C4 is hiring a part-time Research Assistant to provide support across multiple projects and the C4 Center more generally.
The Research Assistant will support day-to-day operations of multiple projects include assisting with data collection and data entry, paying
research participants, preparing manuscript and conference abstract submissions, and administrative tasks to support the C4 Center more
generally.
Job Summary
Conducts research assessments and procedures independently. Oversees operations when leadership is unavailable. Recruits and screens participants, reviews records and surveys, and maintains databases. Performs routine data analysis and prepares reports, data visualizations, and models.
Requires the ability to visualize a computer screen, to work with computer hardware and software, to communicate verbally and in writing, and to use a phone. The candidate must have strong working knowledge of English.
Position is mostly sedentary work.
