Renal Clinical Research Coordinator

The Renal-Electrolyte Division is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator for Drs. Manisha Jhamb and Linda-Marie Lavenburg.
Candidate will recruit research participants for clinical trial including conducting the informed consent process (over the phone). Complete data collection for study visits and enter data in data collection research platform. Assist with processing study participant payments in the Vincent System. CRC will maintain compliance with study protocol and workflows outlined in MOP. The CRC will assist with IRB documentation, protocol, data collection forms, manual of operations and other study related documents. They will also assist with recruitment, establishing/maintaining relationships with community partners and venues involved in the intervention.
Job Summary
Assists with and adheres to Institutional Review Board (IRB) renewal, modification, and approved protocols. Recruits research subjects and conducts interviews and research assessments.
Travel to local CKD clinics and/or dialysis clinics (study participant tasks as needed and community outreach meetings)
Must have own transportation
Participant recruitment
Screening for eligibility
Obtain informed consent
Complete baseline assessments/data entry
Complete additional study visits every 3 months/data entry
Process study participant payments for each study visit
Provide technical assistance to study participants with research platform/app
Moderate physical effort required. May be required to stand/move for several hours at a time. May be required to move objects up to 50 pounds with or without assistance of equipment.
