Research Coordinator

Job Summary
Develops, implements, conducts, maintains, and coordinates training for multiple research entities, organizations, and other institutions. Contributes to solving complex, high-level issues within multi-disciplinary programs and leads both in-person and online training. Creates and evaluates training performance metrics, implements protocol revisions, and prepares project evaluations.
This position plays a vital role in ensuring the lab’s mission of fostering LGBTQ+ youth and young adult health equity is carried out successfully.
• Coordinates multiple research projects, meetings, and team-building activities
• Coordinates undergraduate and graduate students on the technical team who carry out the lab’s day-to-day work
• Participate actively during leadership meetings and strategy meetings with the Principal Investigators and other key staff
• Creates and complies with all protocols and manuals of procedures
In this role, they will:
• Coordinate multiple research projects, meetings, and team-building activities
• Help foster a psychologically safe environment for team members to succeed and thrive
• Coordinate undergraduate and graduate students on the technical team who carry out the lab’s day-to-day work
• Participate actively during weekly meetings
• Orient new members to the lab and introduce them to ongoing projects
• Track project milestones and help organize the team to meet goals and deadlines
• Creates and complies with all protocols and manuals of procedures
Must possess the ability to navigate between campus buildings independently and engage in physical activities within the community.
