The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE
Conducts specialized and highly complex analysis of financial data in support of various finance functions. Responsible for providing senior management with the analysis and information they need to make timely operational, financial, and strategic decisions. Conducts specialized and highly complex analysis of financial data in support of the various Finance functions, identifying and researching material variances by working with related entity personnel. Reviews and evaluates accounting policies and procedures for efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Conducts specialized financial analysis and research on subjects, such as program income statements, decision support analysis, new programs, new products.
  • Compiles and/or prepares reports, graphs, and charts of data analyzed. Makes presentations on areas of research or analysis. Prepares conclusions and forecasts and makes recommendations based on research.
  • Analyzes and interprets data, statistics, and financial information and identifies significant differences in relationships among sources of information.
  • Assists in the development and/or modification of Finance policies and procedures.
  • Keeps abreast of trends as they relate to financial management and adapts new developments into planning, control, and analytical processes.
  • As assigned, assumes responsibilities for special projects involving financial, planning, and recommending changes. Assumes responsibility for the project, establishes timetables, activity plans, and coordinates the efforts of any subordinate staff.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in finance functional area and 2 years related experience required
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
