$18.65 - $26.11The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSEThe main responsibilities are reading and analyzing genomic data that has accumulated from research in the Kim lab. It will be 10 hours per week.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for the curation and management of data from high throughput sequencing (HTS) projects and other projects that generate and complement data.
- Oversees data archiving and data deposition to public repositories.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Understanding of medical or laboratory terminology preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff and faculty of all levels preferred
- Knowledge of University policies and procedures preferred
