Compensation Range:

$17.43 - $24.40

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of the Dean of Hajim School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, this short-term, part-time position will focus on piloting AI-driven operational efficiencies. This 2-month position will assess 2-3 high-impact opportunities in workflow automation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Conduct process reviews of 2-3 selected administrative/operational workflows to document current procedures, identify inefficiencies, and gather relevant performance data.
  • Research, test, and compare AI-enabled tools to determine suitability for workflow automation, ensuring alignment with institutional policies and data security requirements.
  • Develop and implement 2-3 small-scale pilots to evaluate automation opportunities, tracking measurable outcomes such as time savings, error reduction, and user experience.
  • Prepare written reports and process documentation summarizing findings, technical requirements, risks, and recommended next steps.
  • Other duties as assigned.


MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • MS preferred in related field such
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience required


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Previous experience with AI tools required
