The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

Performs reporting for the ambulatory pharmacy team using various techniques, statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and data mining. Collects data requirements, analyzes, determines technical issues, and creates standard reports to meet customer needs. Works with department and enterprise leadership and stakeholders to determine reporting needs and offers solutions to drive efficiency towards departmental goals. May review work of other team members.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develops, automates, and optimizes complex reports and dashboards for a wide variety of users based on data from various systems and databases to meet business needs. Understands strengths and limitations of various data sources and identifies best data source(s) for project requests such as capture percentages for internal pharmacy and clinical locations along with volume and productivity data to support business improvement plans. Creates new queries to support work. This includes producing a daily dashboard of pertinent statics for each ambulatory location within the pharmacy department, including filled, dispensed, and financial prescription data using Willow Ambulatory-EPIC, Power BI, Cardinal Health, and Excel. This individual is also responsible for tracking prescription delivery, immunization, and productivity trends across the health system.
  • Conducts in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. Including prescription capture data for clinical and pharmacy locations across the health system using Willow Ambulatory-EPIC and Power BI data This individual also tracks prescription transfer data to allow pharmacy leadership to visualize opportunities to improve patient care and enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Maintains, modifies, distributes and presents periodic reports to Pharmacy leadership. Provides recommendations including but not limited to quarterly prescription volume reporting and trends. Data will be collected using Willow Ambulatory- EPIC, Power BI, and point of sale data as applicable. Ad hoc requests will be prioritized by preset deadlines and/or the urgency of the request itself.
  • Identifies and resolves technical issues related to data, data reviews, audits, and accuracy of data. Escalates any issues identified through the appropriate channels depending on the system impacted, including but not limited to Pharmacy IT and University IT.
  • Also provides backup support in other areas of the Operations Team as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned. This will include reporting requests from leadership across the clinical enterprise related to pharmacy operations.


MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skills required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines required
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills required
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI) required
