Job Summary | This role supports the BrainHealth App and other digital products developed by the Center for BrainHealth. The BrainHealth App is a cognitive training and research platform designed to study and support cognitive brain health over the lifetime. As a UX Designer, you will contribute to the development of web and mobile applications that enable large-scale research, participant engagement, and clinical interaction. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and committed to building high-quality, user-friendly tools that meet commercial design standards while supporting the Center’s mission: advancing the science of brain health and exploring innovative ways to improve how people think, work, and live. At The University of Texas at Dallas, we create research-driven digital solutions with the goal of expanding understanding and improving access to brain health resources. |
Minimum Education and Experience | Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Two years of full-time Web design and development experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. |

Other Qualifications | To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position. |

Physical Demands and Working Conditions | Long hours at computer terminal, including light computer lifting, installation, and maintenance. Occasional evening or weekend hours and may be required to travel. |

Additional Information | A hybrid remote work environment is available and a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement is required upon employment. Use of personal computer and other standard office equipment may be required. Must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice. |
