| Job Summary | The Instructional AI Content Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and packaging educational materials for the UTD/Uplift: Future Ready AI Collaborative, funded through a Department of Education grant. This role focuses on translating high‑level AI and technology concepts into accessible, deliverable content libraries for both K–12 and post‑secondary learners. The designer collaborates closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), including faculty and industry Single Points of Contact (SPOCs), to curate, standardize, and package instructional assets for broad implementation. |
| Minimum Education and Experience | Bachelor’s degree in instructional technology, education, communications, information technology, curriculum design or related field; three to five years experience in course design, curriculum design or e-learning, preferably in higher education; experience with graphic and multimedia authoring software and Web site design software; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. |

| Additional Information | This position is jointly funded by UT Dallas and a Department of Education grant. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The initial appointment is through December 2029, with the possibility of renewal contingent upon continued funding and satisfactory performance.
