The Opportunity

As a dedicated Capital Markets Analyst Senior, you will perform strategic and complex work assignments and resolve problems to optimize external banking and rating agency relationships that support USAA’s capital and liquidity. You will also serve as a mentor to peers and team members.

In this role, you will manage internal and external stakeholder expectations related to the development, management, and growth of relationships with third-party banks. You will be responsible for USAA’s committed credit facility and bank relationship management, including end-to-end ownership of successful execution.

This is a high-visibility role with opportunities to influence strategy at the highest levels of leadership.

We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position is based in San Antonio, TX. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

What you'll do:

  • As a primary point of contact, manages all aspects of credit facility and bank relationship management or rating agency relationship management.

  • Demonstrates expertise to be primary point of contact for any internal and external relationship, strategy and communication.

  • Leads entire capital markets process for external third-party bank relationships including offering documents, underwriting decisions, managing approvals, relations with internal and external stakeholders, and due diligence responses.

  • Negotiates price, terms and conditions of USAA’s credit facility and oversees documentation and entire amend and extend process, including but not limited to administration of strategic business meetings and partnership, direct work with impacted stakeholders such as, legal, accounting, procurement, and senior leadership, both internal and external.

  • Directs work efforts to maintain, inventory, and service debt covenants and restrictions and produce reports.

  • Leads potential risk evaluation process.

  • Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.

  • 6 years of finance, treasury, capital management, capital markets experience or CFA and 4 years of finance, treasury, capital management or capital markets experience.

  • Ability to effectively work with both internal and external partners.

  • Proven communication skills required of relationship management with internal and external contacts.

  • Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications.

Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $93,770 - $179,240.

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.

Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
