The Technical Program Manager for Enterprise AI & Research plays a critical role in enabling strategic clarity, execution rigor, and operational excellence across the EAIR portfolio. This role acts as a force multiplier for EAIR leadership by developing a deep understanding of enterprise AI products, synthesizing cross‑functional inputs, and ensuring leadership has the structure, insights, and context needed to make informed decisions. As a proactive and strategic operator with strong product intuition, you will help translate leadership vision into executable plans, connect research progress to product strategy, and keep teams aligned on priorities and outcomes. You will operate with influence rather than authority — navigating ambiguity, facilitating alignment, and balancing long‑term research investments with near‑term product and platform needs. This role blends AI program management, product strategy support, and executive enablement. While it does not own final strategic or investment decisions, it is accountable for ensuring decisions are well‑framed, data‑backed, clearly communicated, and effectively executed across Enterprise AI & Research.

Core Responsibilities

  • Facilitate operational and strategic planning for the Enterprise AI & Research (EAIR) portfolio, including OKRs, KPIs, and outcome‑based success metrics aligned to enterprise strategy.
  • Partner with EAIR, product, and business leaders to gather inputs, align priorities, and articulate proposed goals that reflect market needs and leadership direction.
  • Track and report progress against EAIR program goals, clearly highlighting milestones achieved, dependencies resolved, and outcomes enabled through leadership alignment.
  • Ensure end‑to‑end traceability from EAIR strategy to execution, outcomes, and value realization to support leadership assessment and course correction.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Enterprise AI products, platforms, and research initiatives to inform leadership discussions and strategic framing.
  • Synthesize cross‑functional inputs to support leadership evaluation of build vs. buy decisions, product positioning, and market placement of AI capabilities.
  • Frame AI initiatives in terms of customer value, business impact, and enterprise scalability to enable informed decision‑making by EAIR and CDAO leadership.
  • Track budgets, staffing plans, and capacity allocation across the EAIR portfolio, partnering with Finance, HR, and Technology to surface constraints and tradeoffs.
  • Own the operational cadence of the EAIR organization, including leadership meetings and ceremonies, ensuring disciplined execution aligned with leadership‑approved priorities.
  • Serve as the program lead supporting EAIR leadership by enabling effective communication, change management, and cross‑enterprise initiatives, while ensuring strategic ownership remains with leadership.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in technical project or program management, including enterprise‑scale or multi‑workstream initiatives. Bachelor's / Masters degree in Computer science or related fields.
  • Strong experience supporting senior leadership through program planning, execution tracking, and executive‑level reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with influence rather than authority, synthesizing inputs and enabling leadership decision‑making.
  • Good to have skills in project planning, scheduling, risk and issue management, stakeholder communication, vendor coordination, and cross-functional collaboration. Technical proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project), and familiarity with SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies is essential. Experience working with AI, data, or advanced technology programs preferred; familiarity with enterprise delivery models (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) strongly desired.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
