Job Description

ISO, a Verisk business, is looking to advance a high-powered product suite into the future. This product suite is focused on the P&C insurance market with a heavy focus on ISO’s core insurance products, forms, rules and loss costs. We are on a multi-year journey to modernize the product suite, architecture, and associated technology/infrastructure to provide our customers with a more efficient and effective way of utilizing our industry-leading content.

Responsibilities

This individual will be responsible for product innovation and management of multiple products within the Core Lines suite. This individual will have demonstrated expertise in managing the product development lifecycle - from translating product performance analytics and customer feedback into requirements, partnering on the management of development and ultimately assessing the performance of product enhancements. The successful candidate will collaborate with key partners in Technology, Design, Coverage and Actuarial to identify, prioritize and develop product features and enhancements that will generate measurable customer value in the areas of customer usage and time savings. This individual will apply their knowledge of and experience with P&C insurance carrier processes and financial goals to ultimately craft strategic roadmaps that allow for better integration of Core Lines products into carrier workflows and enable better decision making.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of P&C insurance carrier experience in Product Management, Product Development, Underwriting or Actuarial Pricing preferred
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with Technology and key business partners across requirements gathering, solution design, story creation, feature development, testing and customer-facing release
  • Strong knowledge of ISO core lines products (rate, rules, forms)
  • Track record in Strategy, Product Development, Customer Journey Management or Digital Transformation projects
  • Experience performing current state analysis and formulating strategic action plans based on results and future state goals
  • Working knowledge or experience with repositioning products to showcase their powerful relevance for the future
  • Demonstrated history of building consensus across business areas and other stakeholders to support new ways of thinking about product capability and value

  • Applies knowledge of carrier business/financial key performance indicators to recommended actions/solutions

  • Serves as an advocate for the customer and pursues products/services that promote ease of doing business and delivery of information that enables improved decision making
