Global Protection Services Team is seeking a Health, Safety & Security Specialist in our Krakow, Poland office as a representative of our team and advocate for health & safety matters, protecting our people and environments. Global Protection Services Team is seeking a Health, Safety & Security Specialist in our Krakow, Poland office.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Health & Safety, preferably in a similar operational or industrial environment.

  • Professional certification from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) or an equivalent recognized body.

  • Certified First Aider with demonstrated competence.

  • Ability to support the Global Protection Services team during emergency response situations as required.

  • Strong risk assessment experience, including identification, evaluation, and mitigation of hazards.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Fluency in Polish and English, both written and spoken, with strong interpersonal skills. Capable of preparing clear and comprehensive reports, assessments, and professional correspondence.

We offer a hybrid work arrangement; with three days each week spent in our Kraków office.

  • Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety regulations and standards, issue instructions to remedy identified shortcomings, and monitor the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.

  • Implement global Health & Safety and Security policies aimed at preventing workplace accidents and occupational illnesses, taking into account technical factors, work organization, working conditions, social relations, and environmental influences.

  • Ensure adherence to orders, directives, decisions, and regulations issued by authorities responsible for supervising working conditions.

  • Maintain operational personal protective equipment (PPE)—including gloves, masks, and first aid materials—by conducting regular inspections, identifying defects or unsafe items, and coordinating timely repair or replacement.

  • Participate in the risk committee, maintain accurate records of findings, and provide reports to leadership as required.

  • Deliver Health and Safety training to employees, including but not limited to fire warden and first aid training. Conduct periodic reviews to ensure warden roles and responsibilities remain compliant and employees remain actively engaged. Support additional GPS-led training initiatives as needed, such as evacuation drills.

  • Support ad-hoc investigations by serving as a witness during purges of potentially exfiltrated materials, preparing interview rooms, handling evidence securely, and coordinating shipment of items of interest when required.
