Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Typically, in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Master’s Degree (Optional): An MBA or relevant master’s degree can be advantageous.

Professional Experience:

  • Usually, 0-2 years in business analysis in Life Insurance implementations
  • Industry Knowledge: Optional but Beneficial

Technical Skills:

  • Data Analysis Tools: Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, or data visualization software (optional) (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Requirements Management Tools: Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms for tracking requirements and project management.
  • Certifications (Optional but Beneficial)

Soft Skills:

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building skills to foster collaboration across departments.

  • Requirements Elicitation: Engage with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of their needs.
  • Test Planning: Developing a test strategy and creating test plans that outline the scope, approach, resources, and schedule for testing activities.
  • Test Case Design: Writing clear and detailed test cases based on requirements and specifications to ensure all functionalities are covered.
  • Test Execution: Executing test cases, both manually and automated, to identify defects and verify that the software behaves as expected.
  • Process Mapping: Create process maps to visualize workflows and identify areas for improvement.
  • Defect Reporting: Identifying, documenting, and reporting defects or issues discovered during testing. This includes providing clear reproduction steps and severity levels.
  • Test Automation: Participating in the creation and maintenance of automated tests to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Performance Testing: Conducting performance, load, and stress tests to ensure the application can handle expected workloads.
  • Regression Testing: Preparing and executing regression tests to confirm that existing functionalities work as intended after changes or enhancements.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Assisting in UAT sessions to ensure the product meets business needs and is ready for delivery.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to users on new systems and processes, ensuring smooth implementation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyzing testing processes and outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implementing best practices in testing methodologies.
