Verisk’s Summer Internship Program is designed to give you real work experience, professional development, and opportunities to build your network.
This is a full-time (40 hours/week), paid internship running for ten weeks from July through September 2026. The program follows a hybrid work model, and you’ll be expected to be in Kraków office at least 2 days per week. Being located near your assigned office will help you fully participate in team life, collaborate with your mentor, and get the most out of the experience. It’s a great way to see how modern engineering teams work with real products, real data, and real users.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer (Intern) to support testing activities across our applications. This role provides hands-on exposure to QA engineering practices, software testing workflows, and real-world project delivery. The QA Engineer intern will collaborate closely with QA Analysts, senior QA Engineers, Developers, and Product teams to contribute to the quality of web-based and API applications.

Join our 2026 Summer Internship!
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Foundational understanding of software development or testing concepts.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team.
- Ability to work onsite or hybrid according to the internship program structure.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g. Java, Python, C#).
- Understanding of web technologies, APIs, and database concepts.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Interest in QA automation tools, frameworks, and quality engineering practices
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, Cloud computing, and AI
- Willingness to learn new tools and technologies
- Execute manual test cases and support functional, regression, and exploratory testing activities.
- Assist in reviewing requirements and preparing detailed test scenarios and supporting documentation.
- Identify, document, and verify defects across lower environments.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and learn the full software development lifecycle.
- Support API testing and validation tasks as needed.
- Gain a foundational understanding of automation frameworks and contribute to basic automation tasks under guidance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend and logs
