Job Summary:

The Senior Data Analyst on the Customer Information Analysis & Operations Team turns complex data into actionable insights that drive business success. As the team’s technical subject matter expert, you’ll support researchers by understanding data needs, creating queries, and performing advanced analysis using SQL and Python - ensuring best-in-class Customer Data with regard to accuracy, completeness, and validity.

In addition to supporting the team with day-to-day technical needs, you’ll lead technical continuous improvement initiatives and projects which bridge the gap between business goals and the complex data behind them, ensuring these datapoints are housed in tools accessible to a general audience for deeper understanding of Customer Information Management (CIM). Beyond technical expertise, you’ll operate with a high degree of autonomy, proactively identifying problems, proposing solutions, and translating technical nuances into clear, simple language for business stakeholders. If you’re passionate about simplifying complexity, influencing outcomes, and shaping data-driven decisions, this is your opportunity to lead with impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead data projects by applying structured processes to set objectives and deliver outcomes on schedule for strategic impact.
  • Drive clear communication and secure stakeholder approval by presenting deliverables with minimal leadership guidance.
  • Perform quantitative analysis using SQL or Python – find the relevant data, transform it into a useful format, and structure the results in a consumable and actionable manner.
  • Identify and act on opportunities for business impact by leveraging data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Optimize processes and implement best practices to enhance team output and efficiency
  • Conduct complex technical research and present findings as a trusted SME to guide stakeholder decisions.
  • Build cross-functional partnerships and provide expert analytics advice to align initiatives with business goals.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Minimum 4-5 years’ experience as a Data Analyst.
  • Experience leading projects and obtaining approval of deliverables from stakeholders.
  • Experience in SQL coding across enterprise data warehouses (e.g., Teradata, Snowflake) and writing custom scripts in Python.
  • Proficiency in statistics, data visualization and analytical skills using Excel or PowerBI.
  • Experience presenting analysis results, recommendations, and deliverables to stakeholders, leaders, and peers.
  • Experience synthesizing ambiguous data into clear, actionable insights and simplifying concepts for non-technical audiences.
