Position Summary...
Are you ready to lead and innovate in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a Manager of Product Development and Sourcing to lead the product development process for Member’s Mark, the exclusive private brand of Sam’s Club. In this role, you will drive the development of high-quality, trend-right Domestic textile items that deliver exceptional value to our members. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—including Design, Sourcing, Technical Design, and Merchandising—to ensure product execution meets brand, quality, and financial goals.As a key player within the Private Brand team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the Member’s Mark textile offering through a member-first lens, grounded in innovation, performance, and everyday usability. You’ll be instrumental in delivering consistent brand voice across categories, driving speed-to-market, and scaling best practices across the development process.
In this role, you'll bring a deep understanding of the private brand landscape, large-scale retail environments, and working collaboratively with global partners to bring product to life at scale.

About the Team:

Our team collaborates across departments to implement effective strategies and achieve company goals. As a Manager of Product Development and Sourcing, you'll play a crucial role in driving our success and ensuring seamless product execution.
What you'll do:
- Collaborate closely with Design, Merchandising, Sourcing, and suppliers to align product execution with brand vision, cost targets, and delivery timelines.
- Drive continuous process improvements and innovation in materials, construction methods, and product execution to enhance member experience.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of domestic textile product development from concept to production handoff.
- Assess market trends, consumer insights, and sales data to determine item pipeline and ensure alignment to category and brand strategy while meeting quality and aesthetic standards.
- Manage the development calendar, ensuring all key milestones are met.
- Maintain and enforce technical standards, including tech packs, BOMs, specs, and testing protocols.
- Understand competition to ensure items (current and in development) are differentiated thru premium quality/disruptive value.
Minimal Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Textile Science, or related field.
- 1-3 years of textile experience, 1 - 3 years of retail experience.
- Knowledge of textile construction, fabric development, costing, and global sourcing.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, influence, and team management skills.
- Experience working with PLM systems.
- A passion for textile, innovation, and delivering best-in-class product.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
