The Senior Director of Product Management, Last Mile will play a critical role in shaping Walmart’s last-mile strategy, leading a team of product leaders to drive innovation in delivery platforms, logistics optimization, and customer experience.

You will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for last-mile delivery, enabling Walmart to offer customers faster, more reliable, and cost-effective ways to receive their purchases—whether through home delivery, curbside pickup, drones, or emerging channels. This role is highly cross-functional, requiring collaboration with engineering, operations, design, data science, and business leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vision & Strategy: Define and drive the long-term product strategy for Walmart’s last-mile ecosystem, aligning with business priorities and customer needs.
  • Roadmap Leadership: Develop and manage the product roadmap, ensuring delivery against key milestones and KPIs.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing product management team with a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer focus.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, operations, and business teams to execute initiatives that optimize delivery efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.
  • Innovation & Customer Experience: Champion cutting-edge technologies (AI/ML, routing optimization, autonomous delivery, drones) to improve last-mile services.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure product solutions integrate seamlessly with Walmart’s supply chain, stores, and fulfillment centers.
  • Metrics & Performance: Define and measure success criteria, using data-driven decision-making to continuously improve last-mile capabilities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate product vision, progress, and results to executive leadership and external partners.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 12+ years of experience in product management, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of owning large-scale product strategy, execution, and delivery.
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, e-commerce, or last-mile delivery.
  • Strong people leadership skills with demonstrated ability to build, coach, and scale teams.
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills with a bias toward action.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
  • Experience working at the intersection of retail, e-commerce, and logistics.
  • Expertise with AI/ML-driven optimization, routing, or fulfillment platforms.
  • Prior experience managing $1B+ scale products or businesses.
  • Track record of delivering customer-centric innovations that drive measurable impact.
  • Global experience in managing last-mile or logistics solutions across multiple markets.

The annual salary range for this position is $208,000.00-$416,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
