Position: Senior Manager Systems and Infrastructure

Duties: Architecture Acumen: Architectural principles; Systems and environment behavior; Architectural Styles, Patterns and plannings; Architectural standards; Non-functional System performance parameters; Technology Strategy. Assisting in decomposing the product architecture into multiple components and modules and defining architectural specifications for each module. Creating/Appling the right architectural pattern across the module as indicated in the architectural plan to obtain the right result. Defining the architecture blueprint for the various components within a product/solution. Analyzing system performance impacting the complete product for non-functional requirements like reliability, operability, performance efficiency and security. Drives enterprise-wide systems engineering projects by consulting with and advising business partners regarding project designing and required functionality by drives the development of innovative solutions across the enterprise; researching industry innovations and best practices and integrating them into eCommerce designs; designing enterprise-wide functionality based on long-term technology strategies; directs agile teams in the development of systems engineering solutions; advising on development issues when they arise; and drives the implementation of systems solutions. Version Control: Version management tool; Product deployment tools and processes; Releasing verification mechanism. Ensuring that any modification to code is checked into correct branch and code merges are done properly. Authenticating and authorizing of code changes in the version control system / central repository. Oversee the process of code branching and ensuring seamless code build. Ensuring that all impacted files are included in release communication. Integration Management: Types of middleware; Different types of platforms; Functions of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs); Programming languages used for middleware; Principles and protocols for API-level integration; New and emerging middleware products, tools and methodologies in the industry. Evaluating opportunities for creating connections among various hardware and applications. Evaluating suitable middleware to be used for integrating existing legacy applications with current applications as required including cloud systems. Programming the middleware or other tools to enable effective integration of applications within. Performing API-level integration. Oversees the end-to-end process of application integration to the target environment. Investigating the issues or failures of application integration. Facilitating modifications to improve the success of integration between application programs.

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of experience in technology infrastructure or a related field; OR 7 years of experience in technology infrastructure or a related field.

Skills Required: Must have experience with: Technology Solution Automation: Automation tools, scripting languages, documentation, and runbook automation; Drives business plans by identifying needs, developing priorities, removing barriers, and providing resources; Ensures business needs by evaluating initiatives, consulting stakeholders, and soliciting feedback; Setting performance standards, measuring progress, adjusting plans, fostering adaptability, and continuous learning; Strategic Solutions: Advises internal teams on systems engineering solutions impacting business strategies; Oversees analysis of escalated issues to determine root causes and long-term solutions; Implements solutions using new technologies and innovations; Infrastructure Design and Maintenance: Software architecture and distributed systems, scalability, disaster recovery, IT policy compliance, database integrity checks; Integration Management and Cloud Migration: Middleware and API-level integration, application integration processes, PaaS knowledge, cloud setup, monitoring, and resilience; Coding and Configuration Management: Coding standards, languages, frameworks, tools and platforms; Telemetry implementation, security policy application in code development, release and deployment management, version management tools, code branching, and merging strategies; Ensuring Business Needs: Evaluates ongoing effectiveness of plans, programs, and initiatives; Requirement and Scoping Analysis: Traceability matrix, risk and cost analysis, business objectives alignment, Agile methodology, and user stories; and Creation of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to meet core requirements.
