About the Role:We’re looking for a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Node.js, GraphQL, and Federated GraphQL architectures. You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable microservices, contributing to our core API ecosystem, and ensuring seamless integration across services. This role also involves ownership of deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimization in a cloud-native environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, GraphQL and React
- Implement and manage Federated GraphQL schemas across distributed teams and services.
- Own the full software lifecycle from design to deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborate with product and frontend teams to define data models and APIs.
- Deploy and monitor services in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Contribute to system architecture and advocate for best practices in microservices.
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js.
- Strong knowledge of GraphQL and hands-on experience with Apollo Federation.
- Experience designing and deploying microservices in production cloud environments.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD tools, and observability practices.
- Solid understanding of REST, caching strategies, and distributed systems concepts.
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Prior work in high-scale eCommerce or consumer-facing platforms.
- Exposure to event-driven architecture or message queues.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
