About the Job Walmart Connect is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Reporting & Dashboards team within Operational Analytics in our San Bruno, CA office. We are looking for an individual who will lead our amazing Reporting & Dashboards team and help advance our advertising operations capabilities by driving efforts for designing and building reports, dashboards and conceptualizing the visualization. Responsible for creating high quality, eye-catching visualization that tells a story and makes it easy to surface the Core and Operational KPIs for our ad products across all WMC’s Display, Search, and In-stores offerings. Responsibilities- Provide vision, leadership and day-to-day management of the Reporting & Dashboards team
- Lead the efforts on developing reports and dashboards of the highest quality that powers decision making on inventory, pricing, sell-thru rates, performance metrics, etc. Advance our operational capabilities with reporting to guide pricing, packaging, inventory forecasts, campaign optimization and management, sales strategy, operational planning and efficiency, and optimizing our advertising yield.
- Build state of the art visualizations for the dashboards
- Able to clearly articulate the limits of dashboarding products such as Tableau and PowerBI
- Partner closely with Operations & Client Services, Sales Strategy and Enablement, Business Operations, Product and Sales to monitor the roll-out new products, features, and integrations. Build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels to drive influence.
- Provide input to the Product roadmap and identify dashboards that can be “productized”
- Challenge status quo and help identify dashboards that can be consolidated
- Accountable for the performance and output of the dashboards and reports, ensuring its stability while adhering to SLAs
- Ensure development of high-quality reports and dashboards in line with best practices established within WMC
- Collaborate with XFN insights teams including contributing to Weekly Business Reviews
- Contribute to the Data Governance framework
- Accountable to ensure correct access, controls as per Data Governance guidelines have been applied to the dashboards
- Establish team goals and visions and work with direct reports to execute, measure progress, and share results.
- Recruit, develop, mentor, and inspire a high-performance team of Dashboarding & Reporting analysts.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness.
- Work with offshore analytics teams as needed and develop clear roles and responsibilities for the team.
- 2+ years of online advertising industry working experience preferred with an understanding of advertising KPIs.
- Proficient in dashboard design, visualization in Tableau and/or PowerBI
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and often lack of clarity, demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and tight deadlines
- Ability to lead teams with empathy while creating a high-performance culture
- Deep knowledge and experience working with large complex data sets
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, manage, lead, and mentor a high-performance team
- Fluency in the language of digital media and online measurement: impressions, CTR, CPMs, STR, Fill rates, unique users, page views, visits, campaigns, optimizations, viewability, demo comps, etc.
- Strong business communication skills, both written and verbal; with ability to communicate / present to internal teams, also ability to express complex technical topics clearly & easily.

San Bruno, California US-08848: The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00
Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279: The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Option 3: 6 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.1 year's supervisory experience.
