What you'll do...

What we do: Help detect malicious or suspicious activities across various environments. Utilizing IOCs, TTPs, and intelligence to detect anomalous behaviors that may otherwise go undetected. Work with a team to provide interrelated services, processes, and practices that seek to prevent, identify, minimize, and neutralize cyber threats to our organization. What you'll do: Create, and maintain detections for advanced cyber threats. Work cross functionally with teams across Security Operations, Response, Information Security, and our Global Tech organization. What you'll bring:

• Create custom TTP based detections and validate efficacy
• Support Security Operations
• Improve or tune existing detections and controls
• Manage detection lifecycle
• Create playbooks
• Improve Walmart's security posture
• Help develop and implement detection strategies
• 3-4 years of detection engineering or 4-5 years of advanced SOC Analysis experience

The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00 - $264,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Certification in Security+, Network+, GISF, CISSP, or CCSP, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related area and 2 year’s Exposure of leading/ working on Information Security / Cybersecurity Projects, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
