Role summary:The (USA) Staff, Software Engineer plays a critical role in delivering scalable platform capabilities and driving the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment. This position leads technical execution aligned with strategic roadmaps, applying cloud-native architecture principles to enhance system resilience and agility. The role involves mentoring engineers, collaborating across teams, and integrating AI/ML components to develop innovative solutions. The engineer ensures high-quality deliverables through rigorous design reviews and data-driven decision-making, fostering continuous improvement and technical excellence to support business objectives effectively.

What you'll do:
- Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks aligned with roadmap milestones and domain priorities.
- Lead full software development lifecycle activities such as coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Apply cloud-native architecture principles to ensure scalable, resilient, and agile systems.
- Conduct system design reviews to validate feasibility and ensure quality and alignment with architectural standards.
- Build AI-driven applications and integrate ML components using multiple programming languages.
- Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote engineering excellence through documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and track success metrics using data-driven practices.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture, including microservices, containers, and automation to ensure scalable and resilient systems.
- Strong experience in software design patterns, API design, and software prototyping to deliver maintainable and modular solutions.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Scala, Python, Java.
- Experience in building optimized ETL pipelines.
- Hands-on experience in Hive/Spark/BigQuery/SQL.
- Experience working with Apache Airflow.
- Demonstrated ability to lead full software development lifecycle activities, including CI/CD deployment, observability, and maintenance.
- Ability to apply data-driven decision making to define success metrics and optimize development processes.
- Experience conducting design reviews and driving technical judgment for sustainable architectural solutions.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
