Position Summary: As a Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Management, you are a lead individual contributor and the key executor of Walmart’s international logistics strategies. You will manage the flow of Walmart Imports from Marketplace Sellers to the US by expertly executing tailored logistics solutions, including FCL/LCL, domestic trucking, container utilization, and document compliance. This role is critical in driving seller performance and ensuring that capacity and service are delivered efficiently to maintain the company's commitment to Every Day Low Cost (EDLC).

About The Team
Global Logistics is the core strategic organization responsible for ensuring the compliant, secure, and efficient movement of all import merchandise from international sourcing locations to Walmart's retail markets worldwide. The team leverages its global scale to optimize the import supply chain by managing global contracts, strategic service execution, and key relationships with international logistics providers. By partnering with suppliers and internal stakeholders, we design and deliver integrated solutions that secure the necessary capacity and service at the EDLC required to support the company’s sustained growth.
As part of this organization, you will join the Global Logistics NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) team, supporting international freight movement and origin operations. In this role, you will report directly to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management. The team oversees container documentation, shipment tracking, customs follow-ups, and the resolution of operational issues across the global network.
About The Role
The Senior Analyst drives operational excellence by executing core NVOCC processes for assigned marketplace flows. You are responsible for the technical accuracy of shipping documentation, resolving complex operational exceptions, and providing data-driven insights to improve product flow across distribution centers and fulfillment networks. While this is an individual contributor role, you serve as a vital liaison between field operations, transportation partners, and global marketplace sellers to ensure consistent execution of supply chain procedures.
What You'll Do
- Drive Operational Excellence: Support daily supply chain operations by analyzing data and resolving escalations to improve product flow.
- Execute NVOCC Workflows: Manage the movement of import merchandise through tailored logistics solutions, including FCL/LCL, CFS warehousing, and domestic trucking.
- Ensure Documentation Compliance: Conduct rigorous document verification and manage customs follow-ups to ensure adherence to international shipping guidelines and SOPs.
- Optimize Container Usage: Actively drive efficient container utilization to maximize freight density and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
- Lead Partner Performance: Conduct performance reviews with origin operation agents, ocean carriers, and marketplace sellers to ensure service standards are met.
- Root Cause Analysis: Identify root causes of shipping, receiving, or inventory exceptions and recommend sustainable corrective solutions.
- Process Improvement: Partner with cross-functional teams to implement efficiency enhancements and support the rollout of improved supply chain procedures.
- Technical Integration: Utilize AI-enabled tools for workflow optimization, reporting, and process improvement.
What You'll Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or international freight operations.
- NVOCC Knowledge: Experience supporting international freight operations, including container documentation, CFS/LCL management, and NVOCC workflows.
- Analytical Competence: Proven ability to analyze operational data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to collaborate and communicate expectations to suppliers, transportation partners, and internal teams.
- Agility: Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and evolving business needs.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: A proactive interest in process optimization and operational efficiency.
