Walmart and its subsidiaries are committed to maintaining a drug-free workplace and has a no tolerance policy regarding the use of illegal drugs and alcohol on the job. This policy applies to all employees and aims to create a safe and productive work environment.
This position sits at the intersection of analytics, enrollment operations, and compliance — ideal for someone who enjoys building repeatable processes, communicating insights to business leaders, and improving outcomes through automation and operational design.
What you'll do...
- Own day‑to‑day analytics and reporting for Enrollment Services (Cycle Time, Backlog, First‑Pass Submission Rate, On‑Time Renewal Rate, Error & Rework metrics).
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and operational metrics in Tableau/Power BI and Excel; deliver executive summaries and one‑page briefs.
- Partner with program managers and engineering (ACORN) to translate state requirement rules, payer enrollment and credentialing pain points, and workflow triggers into measurable acceptance criteria and telemetry.
- Run root‑cause analyses on enrollment failures, rejected submissions, and disenrollments — recommend process and automation changes to reduce rework and claims risk.
- Pull together, validate, and review enrollment data to support large project implementations, executive decision‑making, and steering committee discussions.
- Provide targeted analysis and data support during large system and workflow failures (e.g., disenrollments caused by system issues), bulk or chain-wide updates, and multi-state enrollment impacts. Lead root cause analysis and resolution support for large-scale claim rejections to help meet timely filing requirements; prepare clear, executive-ready summaries for Directors and senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Public Health, Health Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years experience in analytics, operations, or provider enrollment-related work (healthcare payers, RCM, or provider data preferred).
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas), experience with SQL for data extraction, and one BI tool (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Proven ability to build clear, concise executive deliverables (one‑page briefs, decks) and communicate technical findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in a high‑volume, regulated environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
