Position Summary...
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - iOS ,for a key position on Walmart Amends. Amends serves as the platform that powers an experience for the customer to edit their orders after placement. This will serve a multi tenant need and will serve as a platform for multi regions In this role, you will develop highly scalable services to process millions of requests per day and solve complex software engineering problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technology.About Team: Our team works closely with our US eCommerce business to better serve customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation. From groceries and entertainment to sporting goods and crafts, Walmart U.S. offers an extensive selection that our customers value, whether they shop online at Walmart.com, through one of our mobile apps, or in-store. Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization.

What you'll do...
What you'll do… Design, develop, and maintain high-performance iOS applications that deliver seamless user experiences at enterprise scale. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, reliable, and accessible mobile solutions aligned with Walmart Global Tech standards.What you'll do
- Design and develop advanced iOS applications using Swift.
- Build complex user interfaces using:
- Programmatic UI
- Interface Builder (Storyboard/XIB)
- SwiftUI
- Integrate REST and GraphQL services for backend communication.
- Optimize application performance using Instruments and advanced debugging tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX issues in complex, large-scale applications.
- Write and maintain comprehensive unit and functional tests.
- Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, Backend, and QA teams to deliver new features.
What you'll bring
- Extensive experience with Swift, including deep understanding of Swift internals.
- Strong experience building iOS UIs using multiple approaches (UIKit, SwiftUI, programmatic layouts).
- Solid understanding of networking protocols and RESTful services.
- Working knowledge of GraphQL integration.
- Expertise using Instruments for performance profiling and debugging.
- Extensive experience resolving UI performance and layout issues.
- Strong experience writing Unit and Functional tests.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with R2 or similar release/readiness frameworks.
- Experience with mobile automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Accessibility standards and Accessibility-first UI development.
- Exposure to AI tools that improve developer productivity.
- Experience building enterprise-scale mobile applications.

Sunnyvale, California US-11349: The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00
Bentonville, Arkansas US-10735: The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
