What you'll do...
Role summary:The (USA) Director, Technical Program Management leads the planning and execution of complex, large-scale technical programs, ensuring alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders. This role drives end-to-end system solution design, manages cross-functional dependencies, and implements scalable processes to optimize delivery. The director mentors teams, resolves ambiguities, and leverages data-driven insights to guide decision-making. With a focus on operational excellence and strategic program outcomes, this position fosters collaboration and continuous improvement to achieve business goals within resource and timeline constraints.
About the team:
The Enterprise Client Experience (ECE) team within APEX leads the development, operation, and governance of enterprise client platforms that support associate productivity across the organization. ECE manages end-to-end client environments, including devices, operating systems, virtual desktop infrastructure, and collaboration tools. The team prioritizes standardization, reliability, and operational excellence to enhance stability and reduce complexity. Collaborating closely with engineering, infrastructure, security, product, and business partners, ECE delivers scalable, secure, and consistent client experiences globally, balancing platform modernization with disciplined execution to support sustainable business outcomes.
What you'll do:
- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for all enterprise client platforms, including macOS, Windows, VDI, and emerging XR/VR technologies.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing organization of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Manage the full platform lifecycle, driving standardization and automation to enhance security, reliability, and user experience.
- Own the operational and financial excellence of client platforms by managing service levels, budgets, and strategic vendor relationships.
- Serve as the primary partner for senior leaders across IT and the business, ensuring seamless alignment and integration.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience leading large-scale, heterogeneous client environments, with deep technical expertise in both Windows and macOS endpoint management.
- Demonstrated track record of developing and implementing strategic roadmaps for enterprise-wide technology platforms.
- Strong experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions (e.g., Citrix, VMware, Azure Virtual Desktop) and modern endpoint management tools (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Jamf).
- Excellent financial acumen, with experience managing multi-million dollar budgets, negotiating with vendors, and driving cost-efficiency.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
