What you'll do...

Position: Principal Product Manager

Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066

Duties: Defines long-term vision and strategy for a product family by capitalizing on technology, business, and domain expertise; providing thought leadership on internal and external best practices and standards to drive decision making; conducting benchmark studies and competitive assessments; providing expertise on the market and competition; predicting market opportunities; and setting objectives and key performance indicators for products. Develops and enhances a product family by developing and managing product roadmaps; gathering, developing, and documenting requirements; considering technical architecture and implementation; collecting and analyzing customer and product data; turning customer insights into actionable priorities and initiatives; defining user and business acceptance criteria and roll out strategy; managing risks and dependencies; seeking patents to protect innovative ideas and products; and prioritizing product backlog. Crafts and develops solutions to business challenges by communicating requirements to key partners (for example, business leaders, User Experience, Engineering, Analytics); engaging with key partners to deliver and support initiatives; communicating status and insights related to product performance; and securing buy-in from executive-level leadership. This position does not supervise employees.

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s or the equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), Management Science, or related area and 7 years of experience in product management; OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), Management Science, or related area and 9 years of experience in product management.

Skills required: Demonstrated knowledge of the Digital Advertising Stack. Experience building or working on one of the following: demand side platforms (DSP), Supply side platforms (SSP), large-scale web applications, or enterprise software products with front and back-end processes. Experience defining vision and strategies for a product, executing end-to-end business analysis, and researching market opportunities. Experience working with cross-functional teams to define A/B test benchmarks and use them to drive performance improvements. Demonstrated knowledge of user experience principles. Experience analyzing data quantitatively using SQL, Excel, and Big Query. Experience scoping technical requirements and prioritizing them. Experience implementing product management best practices to streamline work procedures and execution. Experience steering the product development process, including gathering requirements, application design, development, and go to market strategies. Experience collaborating with cross-functional groups including leadership, engineering teams, client services, enterprise customers, and direct sales teams. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $164,715,000/year to $286,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
