About Team:
Sam’s Club is a membership-based retail warehouse club owned and operated by Walmart. What you’ll do:
Lead and manage a team of architects and tech leads across all technology stacks, including Mobile Native Apps, Web, Backend, Deployment, Production Release, and Production Support.
Drive end-to-end project delivery across all phases of the lifecycle, from ideation and architecture through deployment and ongoing support.
Foster a culture of innovation, embedding AI-driven approaches and experimentation into the team’s ways of working.
Operate with a start-up mentality, inspiring teams to bring new ideas and deliver solutions at scale.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, leveraging Agile methodologies.
Anticipate and manage risks, dependencies, and integration points through mindful planning, estimation, and proactive communication.
Oversee third-party integrations and manage external partners to ensure seamless delivery.
Champion best practices in architecture, security, compliance, and operational excellence.
Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, supporting their growth and development.
Deliver executive-level status updates, manage tight timelines, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
What you’ll bring:
10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or management role.
Proven experience managing teams across multiple technology stacks (Mobile, Web, Backend, DevOps, Production Support).
Strong background in driving architecture and design decisions for large-scale, distributed systems.
Demonstrated experience with AI/ML-powered solutions and a passion for innovation.
Track record of delivering complex projects on tight timelines, with excellent stakeholder and third-party management skills.
Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and secure deployment strategies.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and people management skills.
Experience working in large-scale, distributed teams and with enterprise-grade platforms.

Experience in e-commerce, retail, or high-visibility consumer platforms.
Familiarity with analytics, observability, and performance tooling.
Exposure to accessibility standards and enterprise mobile frameworks.
