- Architect and implement microservices-based solutions using service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles, with a focus on secure secret delivery and management.
- Deploy and manage secrets management solutions on Azure and other cloud platforms, leveraging Kubernetes and related technologies.
- Drive best practices in CI/CD, DevOps, and operational excellence for seamless deployments and system reliability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with security, platform, and application teams to define system architecture, integration strategies, and development roadmaps.
- Provide technical leadership, making design trade-offs to balance long-term scalability with short-term execution needs.
- Lead incident reviews, root cause analysis, and postmortems for critical platform issues, ensuring learnings are translated into long-term improvements.
- Mentor and guide engineers within the team, fostering technical growth and a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Stay current with industry trends in secrets management, cloud security, and Kubernetes, and proactively introduce new technologies and approaches where appropriate.
- 10+ years of experience in the design and development of highly scalable, secure platform solutions in product-based companies or R&D divisions.
- Strong computer systems fundamentals, data structures/algorithms, and problem-solving skills.
- Deep programming expertise in Golang (preferred), with additional experience in Java, Python, or similar languages a plus.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes internals, APIs, operator patterns, and cloud-native development.
- Experience architecting and building distributed systems, with a focus on security, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- Hands-on experience with secrets management platforms (Vault, Akeyless, or equivalents) and a solid understanding of security best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, etc.), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Helm), and certificate lifecycle management (cert-manager, Venafi, etc.).
- Strong experience with SQL/NoSQL and database technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross-team initiatives, influence stakeholders, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing others.
