Role summary:
The Analyst I, Business Analysis and Insights for Health and Wellness Non-Store Operations plays a critical role in analyzing and validating data to support business decisions. This role focuses on developing SQL queries, supporting data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and delivering accurate reporting and insights to stakeholders.

The team is dedicated to delivering accurate, high-quality data and insights that enhance partnerships and support internal operations within Walmart Specialty Pharmacy. Focusing on data integrity, collaboration, and service excellence, members manage critical business information that drives patient access and organizational success. Leveraging advanced tools, automation, and AI, the team develops scalable, efficient processes. They work cross-functionally to ensure reporting accuracy and data quality, continuously improving practices to meet evolving business needs and support growth in the specialty pharmacy sector.
What you'll do:
Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets.
  • Analyze data trends and provide insights to support business and operational decisions.

Data Management & Platform Support
  • Work within BigQuery and cloud-based data environments to support analytics workflows.
  • Troubleshoot data issues and assist in resolving discrepancies.

Data Quality & Validation
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks across multiple data sources.
  • Maintain documentation for data definitions, query logic, and reporting processes.

Compliance & Data Governance
  • Adhere to data security, privacy, and compliance policies, including HIPAA where applicable.
  • Ensure proper handling of sensitive healthcare and pharmacy data.
What you'll bring:
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in a data-related role (internships included).
  • Proficiency in: SQL (joins, aggregations, data transformation)
  • Basic Python (preferred but not required)
  • Familiarity with BigQuery or other cloud data platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or regulated environments.
  • Exposure to ETL processes, data pipelines, or data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience working with SFTP, APIs, or external data integrations.
  • Familiarity with reporting/BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).

The annual salary range for this position is $62,000.00 - $93,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
- Stock
