Returns engineering team in Walmart is looking for engineers who love writing and owning codes and enjoy working with people who will keep challenging you at every stage. Have strong problem solving, analytic, decision-making and excellent communication with interpersonal skills. Are self-driven and motivated with the desire to work in a fast-paced, results-driven agile environment with varied responsibilities.
What you will do
- Application and Feature Delivery with proficiency in Android platform and deeper understanding in CI/CD frameworks for Android to improve developer productivity.
- Closely collaborate with other platform team members across across web, iOS and Android app and define uniform solutions for all platforms
- Focus on Test Automation and designing the framework for same.
- Provide documentation for all the solutions in place
- Inspire best Practices and create culture of craftsmanship and innovation.
- Lead a team of senior Individual Contributors
- Owns scoped feature or model delivery through collaborative engineering teams.
- Manages implementation, iteration, testing, and ongoing support for assigned services, APIs, user interfaces, or ML model components.
- Operates with a product-driven mindset and aligns outcomes with broader platform, system, and domain objectives.
What you will bring
- 6-9 years of Mobile Engineer experience with Android
- Sound experience in Java/Kotlin, GraphQL, REST APIs
- Familiar with latest Android concepts
- Sound experience to build CICD pipeline
- Knowledge integrating 3rd party SDKs and APIs
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving capability
- Motivated team player who goes over and above what is asked
- Strong hands-on development skills to prototype technical solutions.
- Strong desire to drive change, and ability to adapt to change quickly. Proficient in new and emerging technologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - including negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills; ability to influence and persuade, without direct control.
