The Director – Drone Product Strategy & Go-To-Market will define and drive the lead the customer experience, product roadmap, and growth strategy for Walmart’s drone delivery program. In this role, you will own the end-to-end product vision and market approach, ensuring that drone delivery is not only operationally viable, but customer-centric, differentiated, and scalable across markets. You will sit at the center of product, operations, and business strategy – translating customer insights and market opportunities into clear product direction, prioritized roadmap investments, and go-to-market strategies that drive adoption and repeat usage. This role leads the Drone 4-in-the-box working group and partners closely with Store Operations, Marketing, Drone Tech, and external drone partners to align product innovation with execution realities, ensuring cohesive delivery of new capabilities and experiences. The position is based in Bentonville, AR and reports to the Sr. Director, Drone Delivery.

You’ll make an impact by… Owning Product Strategy & Roadmap
  • Defining the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for drone delivery across the Walmart ecosystem, ensuring alignment between Walmart and partner app experiences and priorities
  • Driving prioritization and sequencing of features based on customer insights, business impact, and operational feasibility
Leading End-to-End Experience (Customer + Associate)
  • Defining and evolving the end-to-end customer and associate experience for drone delivery, from order placement through fulfillment, delivery, and post-delivery
  • Ensuring seamless integration between customer-facing experiences, store operations workflows, and partner systems
  • Leveraging customer and operational data to identify friction points and drive continuous improvement across both front-end and back-end experiences

Driving Go-To-Market Strategy & Adoption

  • Owning the go-to-market strategy for drone delivery across local and national markets
  • Partnering with Marketing, Store Operations, and Comms to drive awareness, adoption, and repeat usage
  • Developing launch strategies for new markets, features, and propositions

Identifying and Scaling New Growth Opportunities

  • Leading development of new propositions (e.g., Rx delivery, QSR, enterprise use cases)
  • Designing pilot strategies and learning agendas to validate and scale new capabilities
  • Translating pilot insights into scalable product and market strategies

Minimum Qualifications…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience owning and scaling products, platforms, or business lines, with accountability for strategy, execution, and measurable growth outcomes
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.

The annual salary range for this position is $169,000.00 - $338,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
